Kaz B is a British author, director, dominatrix and multi-faceted creative force whose work spans literature, film and the arts. Born in England and based in the UK, she has spent years building a body of work that is as fearless as it is compassionate — challenging taboos, amplifying marginalised voices and sparking conversations that mainstream culture would rather avoid.
Her debut documentary, The Ruthless Guide to BDSM, is her most ambitious project to date. Created with a clear and purposeful mission — to give a voice to those who lead alternative lifestyles, to destigmatise the BDSM scene, and to create understanding and safe spaces — the film has been selected for the prestigious 2 Counties Independent Film Festival (2CIFF) at MK Gallery, Milton Keynes, where it will have its world premiere on Saturday 22nd August 2026.
Alongside her filmmaking career, Kaz B is an established published author. Her book The Ruthless Guide to BDSM — available on Amazon — offers an intelligent, candid and often witty exploration of BDSM culture, lifestyle and community. Signed copies will be available at the film premiere.
As an actress, Kaz has featured in a number of independent horror productions, including Zombie Driftwood (2010), the anthology 60 Seconds to Die (2017), Grim Places (2018), VHS Violence (2021), and the forthcoming Obey (2025) directed by Jason Impey, in which she plays a dominatrix. She is also in post-production on Blood Curse: The Haunting of Alicia Stone.
Away from film, Kaz B writes a popular blog at kazb.co.uk, covering topics ranging from psychology, consciousness and relationships to quantum theory, alien encounters and the mysteries of the cosmos. She is a restless intellect, a natural storyteller, and someone who has never been afraid to live — and speak — on her own terms.
